Setting up your Mist-Pro system takes just a few minutes and requires no tools or modifications. Follow these steps to get started:
1. Prepare Your Sprayer
Locate the trigger handle on your tank sprayer and remove the wand attachment.
Attach the short hose that fits your sprayer handle. If you’re unsure which one works, use the Match Your Sprayer tool on our site to confirm.
Connect the short hose to the push-connector turn valve on the long hose. This valve controls the liquid pressure being dispensed.
2. Attach to Your Leaf Blower
For easier setup, remove one or two blower tube extensions, especially if the end of your blower tube has an unusual shape.
Loosely place the turnkey clamp around the end of the blower tube.
Fit the MIST-PRO nozzle onto the blower tube. Position it so the ridges on the nozzle stem align tightly with the end of the blower tube.
Choose the nozzle hole closest to the center of the blower tube and insert the tube fitting. Ensure the hose sits securely in the nozzle’s channels without kinking.
3. Adjust the Mist Tips
MIST-PRO comes with interchangeable mist tips that create fine spray patterns.
You can change droplet size and reduce drift by removing the inner mat under each nozzle cap or by swapping tips.
Secure the nozzle by sliding the clamp forward into one of the nozzle’s divided sections and tightening with the turnkey.
Use the included Velcro strap to secure the hose high up on the blower tube near the handle, reducing slack and preventing tripping.
4. Test and Fine-Tune
Your setup is now complete. Test the system with water first to find your ideal spray pattern.
If your tank sprayer has adjustable pressure, do not exceed 45 PSI.
To disconnect or swap hoses, press the black release cap on the push-connector turn valve and pull the hose free.
Adjust liquid pressure using the turn valve. If mist escapes outside the blower’s airstream, lower the pressure.
Experiment with different mist tips and caps to fine-tune droplet size and spray coverage.
5. Pro Tips
For spraying into higher areas, rest the blower on your thigh and pivot upward for better reach with less fatigue.
With setup complete, you’re ready to start spraying with pro-level coverage and control.
